The patented folding hinge design features a double locking system that keeps the bicycle from folding or unfolding accidentally. This safety feature is to ensure that the bike does not unfold (& swing open!) when placed in a public transit or in a car trunk.
This video is from Arleigh Jenkins from The Cyclist Site. Her review can be found here.
Arleigh is aware there is a small mistake in spelling "Verdion" in the video but that doesn't take away from the nice little clip!
Our frame locks together when it is folded. This makes rolling even when it's folded! Best way to get in/out & around when you're not riding. Thanks Alan for the video!!
Why says only grown-ups can enjoy our bikes? This modified Verdion (vintage duo-hub, aber-hallo, Brooks saddle, inverted handlebar, clip pedals) made this 6-year-old a happy camper!

You will need:
- » Philips head screw driver
- » 5mm Allen key
- » Bicycle grease
- Unfold the bike. Invert the bike so that the underside of the shaft drive is facing upwards. Using the Allen key, remove lubricant screw cap located close to the bottom bracket by the pedals. Add lubricant directly to the opening while rotating the pedals so that the grease is evenly distributed.
- Screw the cap back on.
- (Greasing Rear Gear Box) Remove dust cover to expose the beveled gears. Apply grease directly to the bevel gears. Rotate the gears 180 degrees and apply more lubricant.
- Rotate bevel gear to evenly distribute lubricant. Screw dust cover back on to protect bevel gear.

You will need:
- » Ratchet with 10mm socket
- » Needle head pliers
- Invert bicycle in assembled position to access front axle bolts. Loosen bolts but do not remove them.
- Insert needle head pliers in notched holes located on the front axle.
- Rotate axle assembly clockwise to tighten belt.
- Alternatively rotate axle assembly counter clockwise to reduce belt tension.
- Tension (under 5lb - 8lb / 2.2kg - 3.6kg pressure): 10mm - 12mm displacement depending on preference of feel

You will need:
- » Ratchet with 10mm socket
- » Needle head pliers
- » Crescent wrench
- » 5mm Allen key
- Loosen belt to alleviate belt tension
- Remove 4 screws on crank with5mm Allen wrench. Use a flat head screw driver on the other side of the screw to prevent to from rotating.
- Once screws have been removed dislodge the crank set from its axle to relieve tension on the belt.
- Remove bolts on rear wheel axle to remove rear tire. When rear tire has been removed the belt is free to be changed.
